Catch Me Outside!

As I step into 2026, I’m being more intentional about the spaces I show up in as an author. With a growing commitment to my family’s needs, I’ve chosen to be selective about the book events, expos, and literary spaces I attend—focusing on those that truly align with community, connection, and purpose. Each appearance is meaningful, and when I step outside, it’s with you in mind. I hope you’ll venture outside with me whenever I’m in your area, share a moment, talk books, and continue building this journey together—one event, one city, one story at a time.

  • Books On The Ground

Books on the Ground is a Houston-based, cowgirl-glam book festival where stories, sisterhood, and Southern vibes collide. Curated by SistersNStoryland (SNS), BOTG brings readers, authors, and bookish creatives together for a Texas-sized weekend of books, experiences, and community.

Set in Houston, Texas, BOTG 2.0 (November 6–7, 2026) is more than “just a signing” it’s a full literary experience. Readers can meet their favorite and new-to-them authors, discover fresh voices in urban fiction, romance, and beyond, and enjoy curated events like:

    • Boot Scootin’ Boogie Book Ball – a dressed-up dinner and keynote experience with line dancing and big “bookish prom” energy.
    • Mixology Masterclass – cocktails and mocktails inspired by your favorite characters and tropes.
    • Workshops & Experiences – body butter and custom scent sessions, stitch & sip, calligraphy and more.
    • SNS Sanctuary Lounge – a cozy space to rest, recharge, eat, and connect with other readers.
    • Bookish Yoga & Chill Moments – because soft life and self-care are part of the story too.

At its heart, BOTG is for the Black and Brown book lovers, mood readers, and romance addicts who want more than a quick autograph. It’s for the women who build friendships in comment sections, buddy reads, and book clubs—and want to finally hug those people in real life.

    BOTG stands on three pillars:

    • Stories – Centering authors and books across genres, with a special love for urban, indie, and romance voices.
    • Sisterhood – Creating a safe, joyful space where women feel seen, celebrated, and welcomed exactly as they are.
    • Experience – Thoughtful details, themed events, and immersive moments that make the weekend feel unforgettable.

Come for the books. Stay for the vibes, the line dances, the late-night laughs, and the community that lingers long after the last page.
